JESSICA & JOSE
Jessica and Jose are a heartwarming couple who love to laugh and are unbelievably in love. They met when Jose went on a business trip to Michigan and decided to go to the gym, Jessica was at that gym and the rest is history. They are the first couple we filmed that couldn’t wait until the First Kiss to kiss each other. And who can blame them?
Jessica and Jose had their bride and groom preparations at the Hilton West Palm Beach. Surrounded by her Maid of Honor and bridesmaids (her sister, cousin, and close friends) Jessica was the perfect image of a relaxed bride on her wedding day. Before the wedding ceremony, Jessica had a first look with her father. Almost on cue, as soon as her father saw her, there was tears and big hugs. Jose enjoyed getting ready with a personal stylist from Men’s Wearhouse (wonderful idea by the way!) and his groomsmen.
In true Florida fashion, the first look was held in the pocket of time before the afternoon rain. Jose nervously waited for Jessica during the first look; Jessica tapped his shoulder and they shared a laugh and a kiss. Next, came the ceremony at the Lake Pavilion, which provides breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway in every direction you turn.
Lake Pavilion has access to a lovely outdoor terrace where the ceremony was held under a tent due to rain. The ceremony was intimate, with emotional vows, stories of how the couple met, and stolen kisses. Guests and the wedding party could be seen shedding a few tears during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner and dancing with views of the Intercoastal Waterway. A guitarist and violinist entertained the guests during the cocktail hour, playing classic hits! The first dance was to the Mana song “Bendita Tu Luz” and the couple showed off their great bachata skills. There were emotional toasts from the maid of honor and best man along with a sweet dance between Jessica and her father and a dance with Jose and his daughter (which had the crowd in tears).
Following the formalities, DJ Louie G and a percussionist got the party started. The wedding guests were lively and loved to dance – the dance floor was packed throughout the night. Near the end of the night, guests were surprised with a Hora Loca. Two Hora Loca Brazilian dancers had all the guests dancing, jumping and limbo dancing.
The night concluded with a sparkler exit and an afterparty next door to the Lake Pavilion.
